We tore out the old one added insulation and then painted and hung real beadboard up strip by strip.It probably took a good 5 months for us to get that part of the room done, but I’m so glad we did it.
It adds so much character to the room.. We actually still haven’t even touched the inside of the closet.It’s big and spacious, but it’s still filled with a lot of my junk and some lovely bright green shag carpet on the floor.We’ll get to that eventually!
We want to cut out a bigger hole and add a real door there, but that’s going to be a big project again.For now, we just added some thicker trim and I painted the door in black chalkboard paint to minimize how much you notice the crookedness of the door.

If you’d like to make your own, all you need is a cheap bag of plastic eggs and a bag of craft moss.You can usually find each of these at the dollar store and you’ll probably be able to make several topiaries with these supplies..
So, you start out with some basic plastic eggs.Grab your hot glue gun and start gluing them together.
